In fact, the period of 1970 to 1980 saw the largest increase in population in history for Livingston County, with 41,322 residents making their homes there. Terry and Carol Shermoe saw an immediate need for water conditioning services for all of these new homes. Over 40 years later, their son Bryant Shermoe continues in the family business with Brighton-Howell Soft Water Co., servicing any and all residential water conditioning needs in Livingston County.
